Ryan James Kahler, aka RJ, has naturally always had a passion for artwork and fine automobiles since his younger years. Four weeks before graduating from high school his father Denny told him that his friend John Cruz, who owned a local high-end auto body shop, was looking for a helper to keep the shop clean and wash cars after repairs. Not even three weeks into his new job watching a couple of wrecked Porsches being repaired and observing happy customers picking them up he realized that this was what he wanted to do for a career. RJ rapidly began to excel in the auto body industry spending the next 9 years learning, working and moving up.

After a few years of attending automotive management classes and trade seminars he became the youngest graduating member of the Automotive Management Institute (AMI) and acquired his Accredited Automotive Manager degree in 2000. In 2003, after moving to his final position of assistant body shop manager at a major Bay Area Ford dealership, he decided it was time to open his own shop and take all of his experience in the auto body industry to offer customers a higher level of care, experience, quality and service. From the very start luck was on his side in finding competent, caring, and knowledgeable employees. Paul Hoover began working at RJs in 2004 and has proved excellence time and time again in diagnosing, disassembling, and reassembling even the most difficult vehicles properly. Paul also helps RJ run the day to day business, answering phones and helping out with various repair processes.

Over the text two years the business grew to unforeseen heights, in order uphold the promised quality and on-time delivery dates fulfilled, another skilled individual was in need. Julian Silva joined the team and demonstrated an extreme talent with metal re-working, sheet metal straightening, and exterior bodywork repairs. Recently in January of 2011 RJ's began looking for another talented individual to fulfill the workload. Bryant Melendez has been chosen and RJ is confident he will make the perfect addition to the crew.
